Barb Pratt

Barb Pratt is an associate at ASK LLP. Barb represents clients in mass tort actions, including pharmaceutical and sexual abuse cases. Barb has almost twenty years of legal experience as a senior paralegal prior to joining ASK LLP as an attorney. Most recently she was employed in a nationally-ranked product liability group at a law firm included in the top 100 law firms in the nation. There, she worked on several national mass tort and multi-district litigation cases for Fortune 500 companies. Barb has experience in medical device, asbestos, food law, consumer law, class action, personal injury, workers’ compensation, and construction cases. Barb also has almost ten years of experience working with victims on several different types of personal injury claims. 

Education:

Barb graduated from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, J.D. (2014) in St. Paul, MN, and from Bemidji State University, B.S. in Business Administration (2011).  She also received her paralegal certificate from Inver Hills Community College, A.S. (2001). 

AFFILIATIONS:

Barb is admitted to practice law in the State of Minnesota and is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association.

Mass Torts, Product Liability, Personal Injury, Class Action, Consumer Law, and Complex Litigation.

COMMUNITY SERVICE:

Barb has done extensive pro bono work related to both housing and human rights issues. She was part of a trial team that won against a large Minneapolis landlord for improper maintenance and evictions of tenants.  Barb was also part of a team that worked to create Minnesota human rights law regarding sexual trafficking.
