Richard J. “Jay” Reding

Richard J. “Jay” Reding is an Associate at ASK LLP. Jay represents trustees and debtors in possession in preference analysis and litigation of avoidance actions. Prior to joining ASK LLP, Jay represented debtors, creditors, and trustees in bankruptcy litigation, including avoidance actions, fraudulent transfer cases, and fee disputes. In addition, Jay litigated cases in Minnesota state and federal court.

Prior to entering private practice, Jay was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Judge Louise Dovre Bjorkman of the Minnesota State Court of Appeals.


EDUCATION:

Jay received his JD from the University of St. Thomas School of Law (2009), graduating magna cum laude and serving as a senior editor of the University of St. Thomas Law Journal. Jay earned his B.A. in Political Science from Gustavus Adolphus College (2003).

AFFILIATIONS:

Jay is admitted to the bar of the State of Minnesota and the Federal District Court for the District of Minnesota.
