Prior to joining ASK LP, Nick was a partner with a law firm in Raleigh, North Carolina where he represented bankruptcy trustees, creditors and other interested parties in bankruptcy proceedings and avoidance actions, in addition to business litigation and condemnation matters. While practicing in North Carolina, Nick became certified as a Business Bankruptcy Law specialist by the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization.
Before entering private practice, Nick clerked for the Honorable J. Rich Leonard of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
