Nick has over fifteen years of experience representing estate fiduciaries and creditors in Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases, with a focus on avoidance actions, claims reconciliation, and bankruptcy litigation. His representative cases include Dean Foods Company, Mining Project Wind Down Holdings, Inc. (f/k/a Compute North Holdings, Inc.), and Pack Liquidating, LLC (f/k/a Packable Holdings, LLC).
Prior to joining ASK LLP, Nick was a partner with a law firm in North Carolina where he represented bankruptcy trustees, creditors and other interested parties in bankruptcy proceedings, business litigation, and condemnation matters.
Before entering private practice, Nick clerked for the Honorable J. Rich Leonard of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
Nick has been published by the American Bankruptcy Institute’s ABI Journal and has spoken at legal education seminars including the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges.
He resides in Charlottesville, Virginia with his wife and daughter.
