Marianna Udem

Biography

Marianna Udem is a Partner and Head of the Creditors’ Rights Group at ASK LLP. Marianna’s practice focuses on representing significant individual creditors and estate fiduciaries in bankruptcy proceedings, related litigation and out of court restructurings.

Marianna’s practice spans a broad range of industries, including retail, technology, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, commodities, energy and food. Some of her significant creditor representations include official committee members in chapter 11 cases of Diamond Sports Group, Revlon, Serta Simmons Bedding, JCPenney, Nine West, David’s Bridal, Rockport Shoes and Vice Media. Marianna’s practice also includes representation of liquidating trustees, official and ad hoc committees, debtors and asset purchasers in various aspects of restructuring proceedings and related litigation.

Education

Marianna earned her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2006. She graduated cum laude from Rutgers University in 2003 with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science.
