Will Thomas is an associate in the Bankruptcy & Restructuring Group at ASK LLP, where he represents creditors and estate fiduciaries in Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 cases.
Prior to joining the firm, Will practiced with a national boutique firm where he worked on a wide range of insolvency matters, including debtor-side Chapter 11 matters, representation of Chapter 7 Trustees, avoidance action litigation, and various other bankruptcy and litigation cases. Will began his legal career concentrating on civil litigation and brings a pragmatic, business-focused perspective to insolvency and litigation matters.
During law school, Will served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Samuel J. Ervin IV of the Supreme Court of North Carolina and the Honorable R. Christopher Dillon of the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
Will earned his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where he received a merit-based scholarship and served as Secretary of the Student Bar Association, President of the American Constitution Society, and in several board positions with the UNC Innocence Project. He received his Bachelor of Arts with distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
