Judie Saunders shares Leadership, Advocacy, and Milestones in 2026 and Beyond
In our line of work, advocacy goes far beyond the courtroom walls. It requires continuous growth, active community leadership, and an unwavering commitment to holding institutions accountable. I am proud to share some recent milestones, upcoming engagements, and an update on our firm’s ongoing pursuit of justice for survivors.
Expanding leadership and education
Earlier this year, I was deeply honored to be selected to join the 13th cohort of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Leadership Academy. Being surrounded by such a dedicated group of trial lawyers inspires me to continue pushing our advocacy forward.
That commitment to education and dialogue extends to upcoming national stages. I am already preparing to lead a critical panel on the use of Forensic Psychology in Sexual Abuse Cases at the National Sexual Abuse Conference in March 2027. Exploring the intersection of psychology and law is essential to understanding trauma and strengthening our ability to effectively advocate for survivors.

Community involvement and structural reform are at the heart of our mission. I am proud to serve on the board of CHILD USA, and ASK, LLP is honored to be one of the proud sponsors of their 2026 Gala as the organization celebrates its milestone 10th anniversary. The work they do to protect children and prevent abuse is truly transformative.
ongoing advocacy and impact litigation
While leadership development and board service are vital, our daily focus remains squarely on our clients and securing justice for those who have suffered abuse and negligence. ASK continues to fight on multiple fronts:
- High-Stakes Recoveries: We continue to secure critical million-dollar settlements and recoveries on behalf of sexual abuse survivors, delivering critical financial resources that can support their healing and recovery.
- Expanding Access to Justice: We are actively accepting and reviewing cases under the NYC Gender Motivated Violence Act, helping survivors find a pathway to accountability. https://www.nycbar.org/get-legal-help/article/personal-injury-and-accidents/ny-gender-motivated-violence-act/
- Holding Institutions Accountable: ASK’s team maintains a relentless litigation focus across sectors where oversight has historically failed. This includes pursuing cases involving clergy abuse, sexual assaults in schools, workplace harassment, and institutional negligence inside prisons, jails, and youth detention centers.
LOOKING FORWARD
Every milestone, settlement, and conversation brings us one step closer to a safer and more accountable society. Thank you to our clients, co-counsel, and community for your trust and partnership in this vital work!
