Jason C. DiBattista is a Partner in the Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights Group. Jason’s practice focuses on representing liquidating trusts, major trade creditors, estate fiduciaries and other key stakeholders in large and midsize complex chapter 11 cases, related bankruptcy litigation and out-of-court restructurings and workouts.
Before re-joining ASK LLP in 2024, Jason was a Legal Analyst on the Americas Core Credit team at Octus (formerly Reorg), the premier bankruptcy and restructuring publication in the world. Prior to that, Jason spent over eight years as the Head of Bankruptcy Coverage & Analysis at LevFin Insights, a Fitch Solutions company, and a predecessor entity, where he designed, built and produced the bankruptcy and restructuring subscription-based content from inception.
Earlier in his career, Jason practiced law in the bankruptcy and restructuring groups of premiere law firms, including a prior stint at ASK LLP. During that time period, Jason advised numerous liquidating trustees, official committees of unsecured creditors, corporate debtors and their boards, prepetition secured creditors, DIP lenders, leading hedge funds and private-equity firms, ad hoc creditor groups and purchasers of distressed assets in some of the most notable chapter 11 cases in history.
