Jasper Wong is an Associate at ASK LLP, where he represents trustees and creditors in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings and avoidance litigation. His practice focuses on prosecuting preference and fraudulent transfer actions nationwide and advising clients on strategies to maximize recovery in complex restructurings. He draws on a broad litigation background to navigate high-stakes disputes efficiently and effectively.
Before joining ASK LLP, Jasper served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Elizabeth S. Strong of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York. He also practiced in securities litigation, arbitration and complex civil matters, representing insurers and insureds in general liability, mass casualty, and other high-exposure disputes.
During law school, Jasper externed for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York, where he developed his early interest in restructuring and insolvency law. Jasper earned his B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations from the University of California, Riverside in 2018, where he founded the Asian American Pre-Law Society, a student-led effort to promote dialogue and peer support for those pursuing legal careers.
Jasper is admitted to practice law in New York and before the U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York.
He is also a member of the New York City Bar Association, where he serves on the Commercial Law & Uniform State Laws Committee, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY).
